Details of how to apply for our opportunities
Training contracts
London
Who can apply?
Training contracts are open to anyone in their penultimate year of a law degree or final year of study of a non-law degree. We also welcome applications from postgraduates and individuals who have pursued other careers before committing to the legal profession.
Application process
If we're impressed by your application form, we'll ask you to complete our online critical reasoning test and invite you to a face-to-face interview. Do well and we'll ask you to take part in an assessment day.
We have implemented the RARE contextual recruitment system into our graduate selection process. By contextualising the performance of applicants, the tool aims to enable us to identify 'stand-out' candidates, regardless of background.
Hong Kong
Who can apply?
We would like to recruit trainees with high academic achievement and a 2:1, CGPA of 3.30 or equivalent degree is what we usually expect, but we are flexible and willing to see if you have a lot more to offer outside of academic achievements.
Application process
Our trainee recruitment and summer internship arrangements are integrated, so if you successfully apply to our summer internship then you will have the opportunity to be considered for a training contract two years later.
If you are selected, we will ask you to come in to see us during February or March for a brief chat and to sit a short written test to assess your written English and Chinese language skills.
We also accept training contract applications from those who are not able to take part in the summer internship. Interviews for those applicants will take place in July or August.
Dubai

Apprenticeships
The date for our next intake of apprentices is September 2019.
Our paralegal apprenticeship offers a great opportunity to kick start your career in the legal profession. We'll provide you with exciting opportunities to work on deals with international clients and you will also study towards a Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship Standard.
For the academic side of the scheme you will gain lots of useful knowledge relating to the structure of the law which you will be able to use in your everyday work. BPP Law School will teach the course through a combination of online and face-to-face learning and you will have one day a week to dictate entirely to your studies. You will spend the rest of the week as part of a team of paralegals; you can expect to be helping our lawyers with a variety of tasks. It will be a challenge but we will provide you with lots of support with a dedicated supervisor and buddy/mentor and lots of opportunities for training and development.
Applications are made through BPP University.
